Eagles Get 32.5 Million Naira Reward, Urged to Demolish Zimbabwe.

Sports minister, Bolaji Abdulahi, has fulfilled his cash promise to the Super Eagles of Nigeria by remitting his pledge of $200,000 (32.5 million Naira) for their victory against Morocco and the loss to Ghana.
Abdullahi had promised to give the players the sum of $100,000 for victories over Morocco in the quarter-final and Ghana in the last-four.
But the team beat Morocco and were knocked out by the Black Stars in Wednesday’s semis in Bloemfontein (by penalties).

The minister who was in company of NFF president Aminu Maigari, technical committee chairman, Chris Green, and the Senate Committee Chairman on Sports, Adamu Gumba praised the leadership of the NFF and the technical crew for raising a team that has made Nigerians proud at the African Nations Championship (CHAN).
Abdullahi urged the team to go out and beat Zimbabwe in Saturday’s third-place match, while also assuring them that their effort will not go unnoticed by the government.
NFF boss Maigari, who himself personally doled out $10,000 to the team before the Ghana game on Wednesday, assured the minister that the team will get better.
