Defiant Makarfi Declares PDP Convention Open At Rivers Govt House

In spite of a court order and sealing off of the Sharks Stadium, Port Harcourt, the Ahmed Makarfi-led Caretaker Committee has gone ahead with the National Convention of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) at Rivers State Government House.
Senator Makarfi declared the convention opened on Wednesday at the Government House amid cheers from party chieftains in attendance.
