President
Muhammadu Buhari on Friday met behind closed doors with 18 state
governors in the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Daura, Katsina State.
Three of the governors were represented by their deputies at the meeting which started at 2: 45 p.m.
Those
at the meeting were – Abdulaziz Yari (Zamfara), Rochas Okorocha (Imo),
Abubakar Muhammed (Bauchi), Kashim Shettima (Borno), Abiola Ajimobi
(Oyo) and Nasir El-Rufai (Kaduna).
Others were
– Badaru Abubakar (Jigawa), Abdullahi Ganduje (Kano), Godwin Obaseki
(Edo), Yahaya Bello (Kogi), Atiku Bagudu (Kebbi), Abubakar Sani-Bello
(Niger) and Tanko Al-Makura (Nasarawa).
Governors of Benue, Osun and Ogun were represented by their deputies.
The governors of Yobe and Plateau were also represented at the meeting.
