Court grants Femi Fani-Kayode N50million bail

The Federal High Court Abuja, has granted former PDP Presidential campaign spokesperson, Femi Fani-Kayode, bail in the sum of N50m, and one surety in like sum. Fani-Kayode who was re-arrested by EFCC operatives last month, is standing trial for money laundering to the tune of N26m.
Presiding over the case in court today, Justice James Tsoho, ruled that the offence Fani-Kayode was being arraigned for was a bailable one and he granted the bail application tendered by FFK’s counsel, Afedayo Adedipe.
Justice Tsoho ordered that the former Minister be remanded in prison custody pending the fulfillment of his bail condition. Justice Tsoho ruled that commencement of trial holds on December 14th.

BREAKING: Bomb scare near Abuja shopping mall

A parcel, suspected to be an Improvised Explosives Device, has been found under the Jabi bridge, near Shoprite shopping mall, Abuja.
Policemen including operatives of the Anti-bomb squad, have blocked the access road to the bridge, and are directing motorists to take alternative routes.

Passengers in an airplane scamper as snake drops out from an overhead locker

Passenger aboard a flight in Mexico were left scared after a 3ft snake appeared in an overheard locker in their plane. On sighting the reptile, passengers unbuckled their seat belts and ran in panic causing the plane to be given a priority landing. The snake was trapped with a blanket provided by the fight attendants until the plane was successfully landed. Then animal control workers rushed into the plane and captured the reptile.
According to Mr. Medina who shared the photos online:
“It was a frightening situation … but people remained calm because it didn’t get out of that space and nobody became hysterical. Some people got up to see what kind of reptile it was, but nobody got carried away.”

The Airline, Aeromexico have released a statement stating that they are investigating how the snake got into the cabin and would take all necessary measures to prevent such incident happening again.

Gigantic sinkhole swallows road in Japanese city(Photos)

A gigantic sinkhole has opened in the southwestern Japanese city of Fukuoka, swallowing huge sections of road near underground work to extend a subway tunnel.
A 7-to 8-meter-wide hole was first reported early Tuesday, according to Motohisa Oda, a crisis management officer from the city of Fukuoka.Nearby residents were evacuated, and five major roads cordoned off in Hakata ward in Fukuoka’s business district.
The gaping hole — which started off as two smaller ones before merging into the larger cavity — appeared 300 meters from the JR Hakata railway station,CNN reports.
The sinkhole is now a whopping 27 meters wide, 30 meters long and 15 meters deep.
It is filled with water that seeped in from sewage pipes destroyed by collapsing sections of road.

T he sinkhole has cut power to roughly 170 households across the city of Fukuoka. Saibu, a gas supplier, is checking for any gas leaks in the area.
While authorities investigate what exactly caused the hole, a few social media users in Japan have been joking about the kind of monsters that might emerge.

A very special person who, believe me, I read reports that I wasn’t getting along with him. I never had a bad second with him. He’s an unbelievable star. He is — that’s right, how did you possibly guess? Let me tell you about Reince. I’ve said Reince. I know it. I know it. Look at all of those people over there. I know it, Reince is a superstar. An American photographer ,Spencer Tunick has marked the rise of Donald Trump by taking nude photos of people.
About 20 people have posed for Tunick’s art installation “Inversion” on the outskirts of San Miguel de Allende as part of Mexico’s Day of the Dead celebrations.
According to Mexico News Daily With the “La Calaca” festival as his latest backdrop, the New York-based artist said the work would reflect how Donald Trump had inverted minds and caused hysteria.

Trump is inverting our minds and causing us a nerve racking, internal hysteria,” Tunick told reporters.
“I think we’re living in a tough and turbid world right now . . . where things are turned on its head.”

The volunteer models, Mexicans and foreigners, were positioned upside down on a hill at Rancho Los Senderos aided by metal rods that had been driven into the ground to provide support, Mexico News Daily reports.
