Tuface and his wife, Annie Idibia  have taken to their social media to address the rumor that he impregnated a top banker called Teniola

According to a soft sell magazine – Icon Weekly,  music superstar 2Face Idibia is expecting a child with a graduate of University of Lagos named Teniola who happens to be a  “Lagos Top Banker” and also 2face’s account manager.

2Face Pregnancy Rumours Completely Unfounded February 21, 2014 – A few days ago, a rumour surfaced about 2Face Idibia allegedly getting a young woman pregnant and various versions of the story have emerged since then.
2Face would like to categorically state that these stories are completely false and baseless.
The press has published this story in many versions without confirming the authenticity of the allegations. He would like to make it very clear: THERE IS NO TRUTH TO THIS STORY.
He would also like to request that the media houses that have already published this story issue retractions without any delay.
2Face does not have anything to hide and if the story were true, he would admit it and not try to lie to the public by denying it.

Sound Sultan To Dine With The Queen of England

Singer Mr. Fasasi aka Sound Sultan recently posted on Instagram, a cam shot of an official invitation from the House of Lords, which is the upper house of the Parliament of the United Kingdom, inviting him for a date with her majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
“I was called to London to dine with the Queen,” Sultan who is a UN youth ambassador for peace wrote on Instagram.

According to the invitation letter, Sound Sultan and presumably other UN youth ambassadors are invited to feast with the Queen to celebrate Nigeria and Her Centennial Anniversary to promote good governance

Funke Akindele Seals Another Multi Million Naira Deal

Nollywood comic actress — Funke Akindele is probably the actres with the most company endorsement deals and has again signed a contract with a sport betting outfit, 1960BET.
According to a source, the contract is said to worth millions of naira and it would see the actress work as the brand ambassador of the company.
The actress, popularly called ‘Jenifer’ by her fans, would also be used for promotional activities of 1960 sport betting outfit.
Few days ago, the company engaged Funke in a video shoot that took place around Jebba in Ebute Metta area of Lagos.
The commercial is expected to run on both national and international television stations.

Cossy Orjiakor Talks About Her Accident

Cossy Orjiakor has narrated how she was involved in an auto accident some days back while driving to give a fan a reward for answering the question she asked on her Twitter page.
It was reported that she was on high speed when she ran into a ditch, though she was not injured but the car was pretty damaged.
She said “I thank God it was not too serious and I was not injured. I was on my way to drop off a gift for a fan who got a question right on my twitter handle. I didn’t know the ditch was deep until my jeep fell inside. Thank God, I was the only one inside. I tried to get a truck to pull it out but it took a bit of time. I guess that was when some people took the picture.”
She denied that she was on high speed. “That is not true, I wasn’t speeding.”
About the state of the car, “The bumper was affected likewise the passenger’s seat. My mechanic had to work on those sides, that was all. “It is good to trust in God. I know He is a good God. I am really grateful to Him, it wasn’t something that was very serious. We should always rely on God and put Him first.”

Profile Of New CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele

Several hours after President Goodluck Jonathan announced his decision to suspend CBN governor Samusi Lamido Sanusi, he picked the current Managing Director of Zenith Bank, Godwin Emefiele as a replacement.

He is the Group Managing Director, Zenith Bank Plc, a position he has held since August 2010.

Until then he was the Deputy Managing Director of the bank, having been appointed into that position in 2001.

Emefiele has been on the bank’s management team since inception and has held various management positions in the bank, including serving as the Bank’s Executive Director in charge of Corporate Banking, Treasury, Financial Control and Strategic Planning.

Until he took over as Group Managing Director, Emefiele was directly responsible for all the Group’s local subsidiaries, Treasury and Correspondent Banking, and Multilateral, Conglomerates, & Private Banking.

He also had responsibilities for direct supervision of majority of the bank’s branches in Lagos and Northern Nigeria.

Emefiele has over twenty-six (26) years banking experience and holds a B.Sc and an MBA in Finance both from the University of Nigeria Nsukka.

Before commencing his banking career, he lectured Finance, Bank Management, and Insurance at the University of Nigeria and University of Port Harcourt respectively

Suspected Boko Haram Gunmen Waylay, Kill Traders In Borno

Gunmen suspected to be Boko Haram members have killed dozens of villagers along Gulumba-Dikwa road in Dikwa local government area of Borno State.

Dikwa is about 85km away from Maiduguri, the Borno State capital.
The gunmen, who were kitted in Army uniform, laid ambush on the lonely rural highway on Thursday, where they stopped every vehicle, ordered the passengers to disembark and then purportedly shot those they didn’t like their faces.
A very lucky trader, who recounted his encounter with the merchants of death, said he was allowed to live because he was not coming from Maiduguri, the Borno capital.
“They wore uniforms like soldiers; we thought they were genuine military personnel, but when they shot some people dead, it dawned on us that we were in trouble”, the trader, who simply identified himself as Abba said.
“They stopped eight commercial taxis and shot many of the passengers before leaving with the vehicles”, another source said.
The state police commissioner, Lawan Tanko, who confirmed the incident, said “I am yet to get the detailed report from my DPO, but the incident happened”.

Drag FG To Court; Atiku Advises Sanusi

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has flayed the federal government’s decision to suspend Central Bank governor, Sanusi Lamiso Sanusi, describing the action as abuse of power.
Reacting to the suspension in a statement issued by his media office in Abuja, the former Vice President maintained that the President had no power to remove or suspend the CBN Governor in such manner.
The former Vice President, who confessed that he has no details of the nature of Sanusi’s alleged “offences”, neither was he in the position to defend them, said “whatever might be the offence Sanusi committed, President Jonathan should have followed constitutional process to suspend or remove the CBN Governor instead of exceeding the boundary of his powers.”
“This is not about Sanusi as a person, or the person nominated to succeed him, Godwin Emefiele who is a thorough bred professional. It is about due process that should be upheld,” Atiku said.
Sanusi who was in Niger with other central bank governors of West Africa when the suspension was announced according to CBNC said ‘Well I don’t know what they are talking about when I come back I will see what those allegations are.
“I don’t think there is any issue that is been raised that has not been raised before, but you know we all know what this is about. This is about the consequences for the changes that I have made and this is something that is long overdue. I’m surprised it took them so long,” he explained.
“Basically, my biggest concern is for the system and I hope that the Nigerian economy will not be hurt by this. I also hope the integrity of the central bank will be protected … I’ve been fortunate to have had an opportunity to do some good work on the bank on stability. I would not want to see all of that unravelled and no individual is worth it,” he said.
“You can suspend an individual but you can’t suspend the truth. If this is all about the concerns around oil revenues in the oil sector, if this is going to bring back the 20 billion dollars then that is fine,” he added.
“Like I said, I have no regrets, I have no ill-feelings, with no sadness, I’m happy. I’m proud of what I have done,” Sanusi concluded.
He was later detained for questioning by the SSS.
According to Atiku, silence in the face of such abuse of power by the President of the country was capable of sending the wrong message and setting a dangerous precedent.
He recalled that, when he became a victim of such abuse of power in the past following his suspension as Vice President by former President Olusegun Obasanjo, he went to court to challenge the action and that the Federal High Court, the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court ruled that a President cannot suspend a public officer he had no power to sack.
Atiku therefore advised the suspended the CBN Governor to go to court to challenge his suspension in the interest of constitutionalism and the rule of law.

Yes, I’m Pregnant For Tuface Idibia –– Lagos Female Banker Teniola Opens Up

While Tuface Idibia and his wife Annie are trying hard to deny the story that he has put his account officer in the family way, the lady has finally broken her silence, revealing all that happened between she and Tuface.
Her name is Teniola and she is a big girl in one of the top banks in Lagos. She said 2face has been enjoying her secretly for sometime now until the “rough play” resulted in pregnancy and he started asking her to go in for an abortion but she refused. She said the story was leaked to the media so as to protect her life.
She decided to speak after Annie tried to defend Tuface. In the words of Teniola:

“My name is Teniola. Please I want my privacy kept secret. I just want to respond to Tuface’s denial of my pregnancy. I‘m 3.5 month pregnant for him and he is fully aware of it. His recent denial is to appease his wife and I understand that…

“Note, I didn’t receive any money from the magazine that published my story. My elder sister took my story there to draw public attention in case something bad happens to me. And I’m not really happy about it. Please I want privacy for myself and my unborn child.”

In his earlier reaction, Tuface had claimed that the story is false and that if he impregnated any lady he would be the first to tell the media. On her part, Annie Idibia said those who wrote it want to spoil her happiness.
But now that Teniola has finally come out to speak by herself, it’s believed that Tuface may decide go and do the honourable thing then keep quiet and take care of his unborn baby mama as the price of his enjoyment”.

Warm Welcome to OBJ in Port Harcourt, as His Two-Day Visit to River state

Ex- President Olusegun Obasanjo received a rousing welcome on February 17, 2014, Monday, when he landed at Port Harcourt International Airport, Omagwa, Rivers State.

He arrived at about 11.05 a.m. in a private jet for a two-day visit. As previously reported, its main aim is to commission some projects executed by the Governor of Rivers State, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, and his administration.
Governor Amaechi, his wife Judith, Senators and members of the state executive council welcomed OBJ personally.
Shortly, after the airport formalities were over, Obasanjo drove in a convoy with the Governor.
Members of the various communities, where Obasanjo would commission projects, lined up the routes of the convoy, causing heavy vehicular traffic.
Serious traffic jam was also nourished by tight security measures, as armed forces personnel and the police were deployed all over.
The first road project Obasanjo commissioned was Chief G.U.Ake road,(Airforce Link road).
In addition to the Airforce bridge is the Eliozu bridge. The road is very vital because it eases traffic from Airforce base, Port Harcourt Aba Expressway and the late Ken Saro-Wiwa road to Rukpokwu, Rumuokoro, East-West road and Airport road.
Other projects to be commissioned include the popular Songhai Integrated Farm at Bunu-Tai, Ogoniland; Afam Power Station in Afam; Buguma Fish Farm and about 300 primary and secondary schools and health centres.

It would be noted that Obasanjo was invited to commission the projects because during the Port Harcourt centenary celebration President Goodluck Jonathan was invited but he has never shown up.
Instead, President Jonathan sent one of his Special Advisers, Oronto Dauglas, not even a member of his cabinet, to represent him.
Former Head of State General Yakubu Gowon (retd) expressed regrets that Jonathan did not honour the invitation because he would have used the opportunity to broker peace between him and Amaechi.

BETRAYED HUSBAND: ''How I Discovered Many Years Later That My Wife’s Boss Is Father Of 'Our' Son''

A man in Ekiti who is seeking the end of his 25-year-old marriage has revealed how he discovered that he was not father of his wife’s 4th child.

57-year-old Isaac Jemibola has petitioned a Customary court sitting in the Ikole area of the state to dissolve his marriage to 48-year-old Olayemi due to adultery on her part.
According to Mr. Jemibola, his wife confessed to the illicit affair which took place in 2002 and further told him that the fourth child wasn’t his but was instead fathered by her former boss.
"She confessed to have had an extramarital affair with her former boss which resulted in the pregnancy of the fourth child. My wife said she had given her life to Christ and that her desire to make heaven made her confess based on the advice from her pastor. She added that the paternity of the fourth child was in doubt since both the boss and I slept with her the same week," he said.
Jemibola further told the court that he reported the matter to his parents who pleaded with the woman to reverse her confession.
"She however insisted that she was following the dictates of the Bible. I purposely don’t want to do the DNA test because I don’t want to hate the child." he said.
Olayemi admitted committing the offence, but kicked against dissolution of the marriage.
"I did it because Jemibola was befriending another woman during the period which made him abandon me for almost six months. It was that same period that my former boss, who normally took me to work in his car, made love advances at me. Both men made love with me at almost the same period. After some years, I discovered that the child looked quite different from his siblings and out of guilt, I decided to tell him the truth. “I pleaded for his forgiveness but he refused," Olayemi said.
In her ruling, the court president, Mrs Yemisi Ojo, adjourned the hearing to April 7.
